Drum Chipper HX2113

The drum chipper is a specialized equipment for producing wood chips. It is widely used in the preparation section of industrial production such as particleboard, fiberboard, and papermaking. The drum chipper has a wide adaptability to raw materials, capable of cutting not only logs and small diameter materials but also various logging and processing residues, as well as non-wood herbaceous plants like bamboo, cotton, and hemp stalks. It features a compact and reasonable structure, high production capacity, low energy consumption, safety and reliability, easy maintenance, and simple operation. Therefore, drum chippers are commonly used in the engineered wood industry.

The machine consists of a base, knife roller, upper and lower feeding rollers, conveyor belt, hydraulic system, and other components. The base is welded from high cavity steel plates, serving as the supporting foundation for the entire machine; two flying knives are installed on the knife roller, fixed in place with specially manufactured flying knife bolts and pressure blocks; depending on the thickness of the raw materials being cut, the upper feeding roller assembly can float up and down within a certain range using the hydraulic system; qualified chips cut off fall through the mesh screen holes, with a bottom discharge, while larger chips will be cut again inside the machine. The hydraulic system: oil is supplied from a hand pump to the oil cylinder, allowing the cover to be opened for easy blade replacement, and during maintenance, the upper feeding roller assembly can be lifted to facilitate the adjustment of the gap between the flying knife and the bottom knife, as well as the disassembly of the comb plate.
