Heavy maintenance of the drum chipper should be carried out after the drum chipper has been working continuously for 1 month. Of course, this time depends on the specific running time of the machine. After about 500 hours, clean the hand oil pump and replace the hydraulic oil. Check the charged pressure of the accumulator, if it is insufficient, add nitrogen. Replace the reducer oil, the lubricating oil grade is No. 90 industrial gear oil or neutral extreme pressure gear oil. Lubricate the chain with oil. Check the drum chipper and tighten each connecting part screw.
The drum chipper checks and adjusts the tension of the V-belt. Then it is to carry out in-depth maintenance, which is double maintenance, which needs to be carried out after the drum chipper has been working for half a year (about 2000h). The main maintenance content is to disassemble and wash all bearings and replace with new grease. Knife roller bearings are lithium-based grease, grease.
